I refer specifically to a hardrock quarry (basalt).
The operation in question would be in future years blasting along our boundary at a distance of 5 metres! Currently 100m from our property boundary. As far as I know the mine plan will always blast away from our property.
Fought them tooth and nail in the courts to no avail. I just wonder what they will do when I stand on the boundary before a blast. Surely it will be getting to the stage soon where they cannot blast if I am standing in the exclusion zone, on my own property!
