I'm having a small part of the ridge of my nose cut off next Wednesday (as a biopsy) due to a persistant skin problem (possibly a BCC), my skin cancer specialist has hit the area several times over the last year with liquid nitrogen but the problem has kept on coming back. I contacted NXS in Chatswood Sydney to ask if I could get a tube of BlastX to help with healing process. When I received the BlastX I remembered that my mother has had a sore on her nose caused by the pad (that rests on the nose) of her new glasses. It's been there for a long time and a small hole has developed in that spot without the wound healing. We've used antiseptic/antiinflamatory creams and antibiotic creams to try to fix this but nothing has worked. So I explained what NXS BlastX is to mum (mum was a nurse) and she agreed to BlastX being used on her nose. Started on Tuesday night. The instructions for BlastX say that it should only be applied 19 days out of 30, so about every second day. Will let you know how it goes. As always DYOR
