I think that inflation/ inequality have more to do with fact than how people feel, as I think you meant to say.
People are not just "feeling" worse off, they actually are worse off.
What some commentators like Peter Schiff have been pointing out is that we are not getting the true picture.
The US national debt is not just a mystical figure that has no bearing on people's lives. Not only is it a constraint, or should be, on public spending but it is a tangible liability that impacts on the US community.
The job figures as rolled out don't present a true picture of unemployment and underemployment, nor do they align with the ongoing news for a while now of large layoffs by big employers.
The Biden Democrat administration is misleading its people and giving the world a rosy picture of America that doesn't exist right now. And Peter Schiff is and has been a leading financial commentator for a long time.
