Yes the Quran is racist and intolerant, but muslims also are required to protect jews and christians who are not breaking any islamic laws or harming muslims. Muslims are required to extend forgiveness to those who sincerely apologise for doing a wrong to them.
It's easy to see how fascists or radicals can put weight on the intolerance and neglect the peaceful parts when they are teaching to poorly educated. It's also easy to see how educated muslims can see Islam as under threat from the West when the West is covertly if not overtly interfering in muslim countries and economies and politics.
It is stupid beyond belief to suggest expelling all muslims from Australia is either possible or would have any good effect. That would just make Australia a hated persecutor and it would not be safe to travel outside Australia.
With 250,000 muslims in Australia, many coming from traumatised societies around the world, I venture to say if they were all bent on killing us they would feature more in the crime statistics. The vietnamese are far more violent and they are from a Buddhist society.
