A proactive management always have plan A, B, C and D ready.

These guys have been sitting back on their laurels recently, and not planning for contingency or risk mitigation. Perhaps they are still recovering from the last intensive marketing campaign, which tried to counter the stock price fall to 35 cents.

To be fair though, the last campaign was undertaken for the benefit of shareholders, who seem to be a very difficult group to please. I am one.

Try asking the MD for the AMX risk management plan (RMP).

We are about to see how good the AMX specialist exploration geologists actually are, as opposed to a group of geologists who may get lucky with a fortunate strike. Now comes the hard graft, proving up mediocre initial strikes at Foumbiri, Pampouna and Doubema.

The real quality of AMX is about to be tested. There may be gold in them there hills, but do they have the expertise to find it?

AMX will be interesting to watch over the next 3 months. I have faith in the long term prospects for this company (at the moment), though I believe they will be tested.

At the moment, given the current international economic climate, and in comparison to other gold stocks listed on the ASX, a fair valuation is something nearer to 40 cents.
