The other figure you should watch is the 1,3 M ozs at 2.9 gpt Au, for 2 reasons (you really think this will not be a mine???).
This is an opportunity to make some serious cash flow in a short period of time.
It also alludes to poss high grade shoots of mineralisation, and again this comes down to
a. having the geology understanding on shoot control, so one can chase them down plunge.
b. being able to prioritise the tracing of shoots, against other ops which are at the surface.
It is very unlikely that there will not be shoots of mineralisation on a structure of this scale, and indeed the cross structural interplay which I alluded to before is already noted and further points in this direction. The trick is to find them.
It comes down to prioritisation, which can be compounded by having so many opportunities to chase. Like another poster said, this is where the true test of the geological team will be shown or not.
One should never forget that they have a great unpaid prospecting team on site, called the artisinal exploerers and miners, and these people and their ancestors have been the true discoverers of gold in most of West Africa. The magnifique Geos follow these people with interest. But they also know these artisinals will only go after what they can make money out of (obviously), which maynot be what a company can make money from. But what the artisinals have done is to emphasize the massive scale of the project, and they see it closer and in more detail than any others. They also make great exposures of the geology, for the geologists to map and analyse. Lets hope the AMX geologists can read all of these signs. And they remain on site and along strike and roaming the ground in their '000's (and certainly not for health reasons).
So the true test of the AMX team is now dawning.
Can the Geos read the signs exposed by the artisinal groups.
Can they make the correct choices in prioritising which opportunity to go after.
Can they find what the artisinals have not...the blind shoots?
Its fabulous to have scale, but deciding and strategising how to exploit this is the test now, for the AMX team.
