I read that recently the trend in automated technology is to bring jobs back to the US because labor is not a large component in manufacturing things with robots. On the other hand, energy becomes very cheap in the states relative to China. Huge amounts of natural gas and oil were discovered recently in the US and Canada. The new fracking technique enables to release oil and gas from shale which are abundant in the US. Actually even now US produces more oil than Saudi Arabia and became number 1 in the world! Natural gas in the US is about $4 whereas in Europe and Asia it costs $12-16. Every year the US imports less oil and it is forecasted that by 2025 the US will become completely oil independent. In a year or two the US will begin exporting natural gas (NG) as well. Its NG reserves could last 600 years. What can I say, God blessed America already!
