@zbusc
You keep quoting Paul as if he teaches salvation is an unbreakable seal, regardless of how someone lives after receiving that gift. But respectfully, you're ignoring the whole counsel of Scripture, and even Paul's own warnings against falling away.
Let’s start here:
Romans 11:21–22 (KJV) – “For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”
That’s Paul, not Peter. That’s a clear warning to believers.
And again:
1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV) – “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
Paul was concerned about being disqualified—and he’s the one preaching grace. Why? Because salvation is a gift, yes—but it can be rejected, neglected, or forfeited through willful rebellion and unbelief.
Yeshua Himself said:
John 15:6 (KJV) – “If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
Z, you are right—salvation is a gift, but it's not a license to sin. Being sealed doesn’t mean we’re locked into eternal life regardless of our choices. That seal is in the Spirit, and it abides only if we abide in Him (John 15:4–10).
Even Paul says:
Galatians 5:4 (KJV) – “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”
Fallen from grace—not fallen from works, from joy, or fellowship—but from grace itself. Present tense or not, it's a serious spiritual condition. And you still haven’t explained how someone “sealed” can fall from grace if, as you claim, salvation cannot be lost.
You quote “ARE” verses. But “ARE” assumes someone remains in Messiah, walking in the Spirit, not returning to the flesh.
Let me close with this from Hebrews, not sure what you don't get about this verse:
Hebrews 10:26–27 (KJV) – “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation…”
That’s not written to unbelievers—it’s to those who received the truth. The gift is real, but it can be forfeited.
Let’s stop cherry-picking Paul to support a false gospel of guaranteed salvation no matter what. Let’s preach the full truth—grace and obedience.
Be better, Z. Wake up to the lie you’re preaching—because it’s a false gospel.
According to your doctrine, I might as well get drunk, do drugs, sleep around, lie, cheat, steal, reject the Sabbath, worship idols, and even kill people who annoy me—because apparently, I'm still saved no matter what.
You say, “It’s not about works,” so what’s the point of striving for righteousness at all?
By your logic, I could throw holiness out the window and live like the devil, and still inherit eternal life as long as I once believed. You can try to water that down, but that’s exactly where your doctrine leads.
I’m not concerned about rewards in heaven—I just want to be there, happy to sweep the golden streets and serve. So should I stop resisting sin altogether and let the flesh rule me, because, hey, I’m sealed, right?
Can’t you see how twisted that sounds? This isn’t Paul’s gospel. It’s a satanic deception dressed in grace, and it completely contradicts what Yeshua and Paul actually taught.
You’re not preaching freedom—you’re preaching license.
It’s time to wake up, brother. This isn’t a light matter. Souls are at stake.
