RCC do a great job at bringing people to Christ & teach that He is the ONLY way to enter eternal lifeLike many believers I am critical regarding some of their teachings but I'd rather see someone become an RCC rather than reject Christ.
Well put and I totally agree. I'm sick and tired of listening to the criticisms spewed out everywhere by many who denigrate Christians for daring to attend a particular denomination, be it RC, EO, OO, etc.. None are perfect yet the common theme with all of them is they believe in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ for who He is and for what He has done for our Salvation, and that He will return (soon I hope but of course that's not up to us). We can all do more, a lot more, to please God, but suffice to say true believers in our Lord are saved regardless of which denomination they attend. Even in the one I attend (Greek Orthodox) there are a few who are critical of RCs. I bite my tongue but I can imagine one day I will come out in defence of the RCs. Also, there are many on YT who claim to be EO priests who are very critical of the RCs but they are just there to boast and indulge in self-righteousness. The opposite happens too, with so-called RCs beating down other denominations. They should all be ashamed of themselves. God knows our hearts and minds. I believe many have already come to Christ in all mainstream denominations, and perhaps many in others who attend so called cults, but we can't judge their salvation status as only God does that. So, let's celebrate our victory over death, thanks to our Lord and Saviour. Although we all fall short of the glory of God, and will continue to do so in this life, we can be assured that we are saved. As for the rest who won't sincerely and honestly accept Christ, well that's their choice and they will not experience an eternity with God. It's sad but that's how it is.
