Are you aware that a consolidation will normally reduce the market cap despite the higher share price?? LEts say they do a 10-1 consolidation. The break even from 6.8c will be 68c. But what end up happening is "punters" think that 68c is too "expensive" and sell out!!! Makes no sense but it happens almost every time.
