    We are talking GaN chips here. I think there are already DFB GaAs lasers. But in blue and UV wavelengths ours is the first solid state DFB device. It permits a much more compact and lower power design for quantum computing, with the posibility that the the qubits and lasers may ultimately be integrated on the same chip.
