    I'm not having a dig, but I didn't interpret the interview as negative, but others may have so just trying to work out why.

    I can't watch the video again right now, but what I inferred from it with regards to the points you mentioned:

    Jim is looking down and "humming" because he is trying to think of another word for acquisition as he has just used the word acquire in a previous sentence. As it turns out there wasn't really a more appropriate word so he plumps for that.

    "Easier predictability" is just another way of saying consistency.

    The Fab conversion is completed, but machinery needs to be serviced and parts replaced on occasion, or even upgraded. A car might be a good everyday example.
