    Thanks for this.

I have again read through the Lumileds patent filed on May 2017 and notice its striking similarity to the completion of work on Tunnel Junctions  announced on 18/12/18.  I suspect that it is not a coincidence that exclusivity with Lumileds ceased on announcement of completion of BLG's work on Tunnel junctions and that commercial discussions are taking place with Lumileds; it's just completion of the implementation of their patent.  Seems to me obvious that the market has misunderstood the significance of work completion on tunnel junctions.

Also seems to be apparent to me that RPCVD has a winning advantage in it's ability to produce embedded p-type GaN and thus stacks of LED's with intervening (and embedded) p type GaN under the tunnel junction without going though the process of annealing the p type GaN prior to gormation of an embedded tunnel junction connecting two (or more) LED's.  An extension of this concept appear to be to have RGB LED's in a stack thus dividing the area per pixel in a MicroLED panel by 3 (very significant on densely packed MicroLED panels.  Also note that the lower temperature of RPCVD to MOCVD drastically reduces the migration of Indium in the LED leading to higher efficiency and dsitortion of the wafer (i.e lower rejects).
