If I've interpreted the right way, I think the idea is to quickly (subjective lol) become the best-in-class for GaN LD's using MOCVD and then blast it to a new level using RPCVD. They also have the ongoing Ganvix VCSEL collaboration which RPCVD is essential for, so plenty to look forward to.
