    Lookig back at this announcement I noticed this line: "The first of a three-phased program is scheduled to last 18 months".

    18 months later coincided with the acquisition of the Freemont fab, but there was no further news of the next phase at that time, or since. Perhaps they have been working on it, but it is very hush-hush.
