You clearly have no idea of the issues (and problems) that development entails. In the case of BLG they were spun off from Macquaire Univ too early and ran into "oxygen contamination problems" which were not resolved until about 2014. They then adopted a ill thought out licensing strategy under Giles Osborn and got screwed (this was frankly naive) and then also rooted when their biggest shareholder (SPPD) wish to sell out and got involved with "broker/finance house" who undermined not just SPPD but also all the other shareholders. Eventually James Walker stepped in and changed direction (to laser diodes) about 3 years ago and got a decent CEO (Jim Hadon) and moved to where the action is (i.e the USA) and identified a potentially profitable niche without the issue of being dependent upon the good will (and integrity) of other companies whose commercial incentive were not aligned with those of BLG.
