I haven’t had such a feeling of neglect as a shareholder since Tesserent, whose Chair’s disdain for the shareholder is recorded in his parting comments in the AFR.
Perfunctory interactions with us when more money is desired is all we receive.
And even those have wording that is right out of the dark ages - like the “Meet the Management” session - as though we’re being allowed into the presence of royalty, for “an interactivevirtual group briefing” - a briefing!!!! We’re not employees being told how it is.
These guys are a bunch of geeks in the garage who’ve stumbled on something good but then also think they can perform all the other functions required to turn their discovery into a success.
Get some qualified, contemporary PR on the job, at least, don’t stick loyally with what worked well enough 10 years ago.
