This paper (if only I could understand it) may provide part of the answer as to why BluGlass might be better than the established competitors. Since there are already companies that make GaN laser diodes that produce green, blue and UV , BluGlass must have something special to convince long term holders to stick with it. (This is not a downramp. I looked at BluGlass very briefly a few months ago, and was concerned that a small Australian company would find it hard to compete) Actually, from reading the investor presentations, I understand that there are a few ways that BluGlass claims to be have an edge.
