Bowen has asked for the AUKUS submarines to be converted to batteries, offshore wind powered with a charging station in Naval Base near Rockingham the submarine will do training missions between Rottnest island and the base and be towed behind other naval vessels to operational deployment areas. A one acre foldable floating solar array can be deployed in 11 hours where the submarine can charge in 3 days for several hours of combat.
