Is it your view that fossil fuel supplies will cease to be available in 280 years time?
If so we have plenty of time to find an efficient replacement, rather than the poorly performing options that are in use as renewables.
If this is so why is there this headlong frantic rush to throw out the baby with the bath water and put in a new inefficient.costly system to replace the tried and true efficient fossil fuel system until a good new system of power can be developed
The rush appears to me to be just a program to suit a companies balance sheet and cash flow plan
