History seems to be being rewritten. Many have forgotten that 25 million russians died fighting the Nazis in WW2 and that Berlin was captured by the russians to end Hitler's nazi regime.
Blinken has said that the Nazis murdered 34,000 jews at Babyn Yar and that the soviets buried this history.
To set the record straight 29-30 Sept. 1941 34,000 jews were murdered by the SS and Banderites. The killing continued until 1943 when the soviets liberated Kiev from the Nazis. In total 100-150,000 were killed there including jews, soviet POWs, Gypsies, poles, mental asylum inmates and others.
The Nuremburg Trials in 1946 sentenced Paul Blobel to death for crimes at Babyn Yar and other places. He was executed and 2 others were given prison sentences. In 1968 in Germany another 10 people were tried and 7 were sentenced to 4-15 years in prison and 3 were aquitted.
In 1946 the soviets tried 15 german policeman in Kiev for Babyn Yar and other atrocities. 13 were hanged in the Maidan Square; 3 were imprisoned.
The Babyn Yar memorial was for all peaceful victims of fascism regardless of race. Around 2006 a memorial was erected by the jews for the jews who died there.

Victims were ordered to undress and were beaten if they resisted: I watched what happened when the Jews—men, women and children—arrived.
The Ukrainians led them past a number of different places where one after the other they had to give up their luggage, then their coats, shoes and over-garments and also underwear. They also had to leave their valuables in a designated place. There was a special pile for each article of clothing. It all happened very quickly and anyone who hesitated was kicked or pushed by the Ukrainians to keep them moving.
