Mr Jerkovic is a qualified geologist with postgraduate qualifications in mining & mineral economics and over 30 years of experience in the mining industry involving resource evaluation, operations, financing, acquisition, project development and general management. Mr Jerkovic was previously the CEO of Straits Resources Limited and has held positions with WMC, BHP, Nord Pacific, Hargraves, Tritton and Straits Asia Resources (as founding Chairman). Milan is a Fellow of the AIMM and a member of the Australasian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Jerkovic is Chairman of the BLK Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the BLK Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?
We are looking at increasing the number of US based institutional and high net worth investors on our registry. We believe exposure to the US market will assist in this goal.
What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?
The company is conduction and intensive drilling programme which includes both under ground and at surface drilling. Recently (8th May) the company announced significant drill intercepts next to the Matilda mine which is the closest target to the processing hub.
What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?
3 Months:
Another 20koz for the June quarter with AISC around the $1,100/oz mark.

Continue to pay down debt
6 Months:
Continued strong quarterly results
More successful drilling resulting in an increase in both resource and reserves
Strong share price resulting in options being “in the money” which will see $42 million in cash come into the coffers which would see the company debt free with circa $20 million in the bank by 31 Jan 2019
12 Months:
Continued strong results
Expansion funded and commenced
Increase resource and reserves
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
Consistency with production- Hard work and diligence/good people
Gold price- Hopeful but out of control
Raising debt for the expansion- Demonstrate excellent performance for the rest of 2018 and 2019.
In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
Blackham is a company with a small market cap that has significant upside based not only on its current assets and production schedule but significant on a plan which could see it more than double production and place it in the top 15 Australian gold producers by the end of 2019.
