blk coal is suitable for ctl process

I contacted some experts including those working on the CTL research project in Victoria financed by Anglo American and Shell. The low ash lignite coal type owned by BLK is very similar to that in Victoria and is def suitable for above ground CTL process.
The advantage of BLK resource apart from its large size is that it is a 10m wide seam only 10-20 metres below the surface. Hence, it suits a large open cut operation with a CTL plant built onsite to minimise transport costs.
BLK also informed me that the JV with Wesfarmers has brought with it masses of research info re commercialising the CTL process.
BLK are sitting on excellent prospect with the aim of producing diesel from coal.
