If DOE gives a loan to Thacker Pass they will also give one for a lower capex, better ESG, Native American backed project. DOE already gave cemvita 1 million which in part is to contribute to the pilot plant at the LRC.
I'm guessing AZL may also be able to take a modular approach with Big Sandy/cemvita. Brett has already called it needing "significantly less capital than building a sulfuric acid plant".
