I’m wondering what the Hualapai plan on doing with that 200 acres near Wikieup that was just added to the reservation. (The other parcel of 160 acres, including Hakamwe Springs, I understand.) It’s close enough to the highway, could they put a casino there? But it’s less than three hours in either direction from Phoenix and Nevada, both of which have abundant casinos. What that town needs is a McDonalds. There is no fast food between Wickenburg and Kingman. Lot more money to be made there from beef, than will ever come from lithium. And the Hualapai already have experience in the food and beverage sector.
