"Wash" means "Western US : the dry bed of a stream— called also dry wash." That may carry a trickle of water after a heavy rain. In Wikieup, they get on average about 8 inches (21 cm) of rain a year. So that wash may have water in it, for a few hours on a few days. I guarantee you will die of thirst if you come here and plan to find your drinking water in that wash.

Look at the AZL application. I keep pointing out how ignorant they were, by saying they would get water from the Wikieup municipal supply (there is none) if the well could not be put back into operation with a diesel generator (a carbon-neutral one, I'm sure) powering a 10hp motor. If you need that just to drill some holes, what do you use for an open-pit mine?
