block boundarys

Just wanted to start a new thread here as l have a question that l cannot solve.

l spoke earlier about the boundarys on the blocks and there is an old boundary and new.

For some of the newbies on here you may not be familar that on the first lease extension our blocks were reduced from 14,981 kms to 7,491 kms, basically reduced by half....this was also a concern that this may occur again last week with the new extension....fortunately that did not happen.

l have gone back to April 2008 when we had a diagram of the 3 blocks totaling 14,00kms this was before the first extension in November...where l am confused is the diagram just recently (21/9/2009) shows the same size blocks but should be 7,000kms.....i have measured them and they are identical to each other.

Sangomar deep is approx 7000 kms on its own for the record.

So where is the 50% reduction....what am l missing?
