Totally agree that’s it’s not underpinned dollar for dollar, that’s not possible, it’s underpinning just determines a value, and gives countries their trading reserves, among other things.
Anyway totally off topic, the point is that crypto doesn’t have a reserve to underpin it and give it its value.
