I have to come down on the side of mollybendium here, The small parcels in question would not be nearly enough to stop a moderately sized buyer. They could not 'block' much. No doubt to the very small (or impatient) holder, who was keen to sell, they might choose to sit just in front of such a sell, perhaps leading to a 1/2 cent lower price should a sale take place.
To be sure, I'm always puzzled by anyone who thinks anything nefarious is going on. If you see a parcel of shares for sale at a price you like, you buy.
If you wish to sell and the market is below the price you would like to sell at, you place your offer a little (at the price you would be happy to sell at) above the market & wait.
Buy, Sell or Do Nothing are your 3 decisions, if 'bots' or a carefully crafted plan from an evil institution drive the price down to a price you like, buy. If over-enthusiastic buyers drive the price above your assessment of Intrinsic Value, you sell. If neither happen, like Chuck Norris, you wait - Eternalgrowth
