This is not a blond chic story, rather an adult bloke one.
I ran a servo in a previous life which was the first in town if you approached one way. One evening on my driveway I heard a car approaching and it was screaming. The guy pulled up and wanted me to check his engine because his car was slowing down. Slowing down? Bloody hell, from where I stood I realised a wheel bearing was totally seized and in the process of melting.
How someone could drive a car without hearing such a banshee wail has me stuffed.
