If you look at the MFG short sellers, it has been gradually building up for 6 to 8 months. Last week was the highest at 4.7% of issued. Question is if the expectation of St James sell off one of the main reasons together with over valuation from lofty highs of sixties for build up of short sellers, is it time to close of and take profits. This will have an impact in today’s trading, don’t you think.?
