I have travelled in India for 3 weeks several years ago. Without a doubt it is the most disfunctional corrupt place I have ever been. Outright bare faced lying is simply a way of life, and mostly they know it. This is not to belittle or denigrate the population, it is their means of survival in one of the toughest dirtiest environments you can contemplate. Add to this covid then I just cannot imagine how bad it must be. I suspect the real infection and illness figures are many times worse than reported and his could well bring down their government. For people on here to claim life goes on as normal is disgusting.
