    what is your question? I've responded to a lot of perspectives on this, and also given a lot of background as to how the law operates:
    a) there's written law in the Constitution and in laws, and then
    b) there is judicial law, made by judges in court decisions and known as 'cases'.

    The bare words of the Constitution must be read in this broader context. I can't give you this understanding you have to work for it yourself.
