Someone was telling me this week, they almost hit a group of Kangaroos, on their trip from Wangaratta to Melb..
they also stated they spotted at least one dead Kangaroo or Wallaby every 2 klms, on that trip...but not once did they stop to check on the animal.....????
they said , they assumed it was dead....
that is the real carnage on our roads, and who cares ?

I know that highway very well, there are signs everywhere, to call a mobile number, if injured wildlife is spotted, and to call them for help.

I did spot a fox once, injured and alive, when I called the RSPCA, they said it was vermon, and would not help me. ????

How can they say one animals life, and suffering, is not worthy of their 'supposedly caring' attitude. ?

What happened to their motto...'all creatures great and small' ?
Apparently, that motto, comes with the fine print, and reservations.
I watched a little blackbird, walk around my little princess tonight, less than a foot away....and neither was
concerned about the other. If they can live in harmony, and are not threatened by each other, why should we feel threatened.
After all, we are all gods creatures, and should be able to live together.
