Wherever the US went they stuffed up. They're very busy at the moment, having fun by keeping the torture chambers active; so they won't go anywhere else for now... in fact for quite a while, I think. At least not until someone actually shoves them out, at which point Bush will get on a Tank this time and declare victory for the US.
There's no money in Sudan so, no need to go. What's there to destroy? What's there to rebuild? Who's there to make money out of (ie, to rob)? Would the US electorate like the idea of going to a poverty stricken country, all guns blazing?
