Comvita are growing their direct sales channels into china. The announcement mentions that chinese consumers ultimately consume approx 60% of total sales for comvita. Capilano will start to see the benefits of its jv with comvita in time. Capilanos sales to china are increasing. Can you imagine if at some point capilano honey becomes a household name in china as comvita is. When will the market price in this china growth potential? At $19 and a fy17 eps consensus of only 120, the market is saying this is worth a forward pe of 15.8. I can see that potentially rising to a forward pe of at least 18 as the market becomes more aware of the growth comvita is experiencing in china and the strong ties comvita and capilano are forming.
