These comments might get a pass in the more populous states but surely they will lose electoral votes in the smaller ones. Anyone who says this sort of thing is way out of touch with the people.
Re farmers:
"You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, add water, up comes the corn."
Re factory workers:
"You put the piece of metal in the lathe, you turn the crank in the direction of the arrow, and you can have a job."
Re 95 year olds (I'm sure this won't apply to Mike when he's 95):
"If you show up with cancer & you’re 95 years old, we should say...there’s no cure, we can’t do anything ... A young person, we should do something. Society’s not willing to do that, yet."
