Simon's comments on partially fixing Woodsides Ching stuffups include comments about drilling 1 to 3 Ching wells later this year (October not mentioned) and depending on equipment availability. It's a shame that there's no clear view even now from Woodie about what their intentions and timing. Frankly, I doubt they have Woodie the nous, inclination and equipment to do much for months to come that will deliver increased flow rates. They'll probably drill one or, begrudgingly for the JV's sake, two wells, and wait and wait and wait for equpiment (which if past performance is anything to go by they probably haven't even ordered yet).

Well, I suppose I'm hopefull they'll get one well flowing by January-ish, and the others by April. And they would probably crow about that!

Not Simon's fault, just a pity Hardman's large partner is clueless and slow.
