You hear plenty of pundits rattling the chain about socialists and communists on Hot Copper as if they are a genuine threat anymore. Take a step back and look at "democracy" in the USA. Two billionaires fighting for power. God forbid we continue down this path. We have had a Prime Minister be anointed as leader after he donated $1M to his party to contest the election and more recently an election heavily impacted by a far wealthier man in Clime Palmer.
For the USA it is fairly irrelevant who wins, two party systems are a mockery of democracy as whoever wins will never be let anywhere near the gears of real power. If you need any more evidence that it is a token position:
A guy becomes president A second guy becomes president The first guys son becomes president The next two elections are contested by the second guys wife
