No one really has to sell or buy anything. If you knew the tax law you would understand what she said the reasons for the sale are vaild. We have seen the same playbook from a number of CEO's. You have to pay the ATO instalment tax when your shares vest not when you sell. So she would have had a big tax bill from her previous company shares as she was paid out by A2M for those and she brought a bigger house and wanted to pay down some debt - ever done that ?
