It is interesting so much sh1t uncovering in the NSW mining affairs. Hopefully the SP drops lower so I can buy more.
So the court says the actions of a corrupt mining minister is up for legal challenge. NCM have under a previously accepted legal structure put up $2billion developing the deposit. The mining act still grant legislative powers to the current mining minister the right to overrule any and all decisions made. Does court decision takes precedence or legislative powers of mining minister takes precedence. If mining license declared illegal how to ensure NCM is correctly compensated for a corrupt minister's decision. If mining license declared illegal setting precedent for challenges on other mine sites granted, how to handle the impact of it all.
The possibilities are all there, just seems easier to stay the course.
