That's a very good point, and one that I hadn't yet properly explored. The price of electricity will go through the roof as providers look to re-coup money lost as taxes. Electricity generation is quarantined from the pressures of overseas competitors/supply because it needs to be originated locally. Any company with coal or gas fired power plants will simply pass on higher costs.

Couple this with his supposed ETS introduction in 2013 and it's not too hard to imagine what is going to happen to the price of domestic electricity supply.
