Ive never put much weight on basing investment decisions on the purchases and sales of director holdings. There are a myriad of reasns why directors might buy or sell and unless they were able to give their reasons in the notice, you cant really make judgement.
As an example, a director might be given shares in lieu of salary. In this case some people would see a sale as a negative where in fact its just another form of payment for their work. Just one example
