Share price (or market cap) and management ability are NOT the same thing. BHP was $50 in 2008, $29 now. Is lousy BHP management the reason for a 6-year share price decline? Is BHP management only about half as good now as it was then?
BLT is a small company, it's share price is at the mercy of the market. Management have fended off a long-running and determined attack on its patents, secured financing, negotiated collaborations, and got clinical trials going, and so far they are going well. The market got enthusiastic a while ago, then got its fingers burned by just a minor trial delay, and now there's a lot of reluctance to get back in until there are concrete trial results. IMHO that's why the share price isn't going up again yet. That means that, for fundamental investors, the shares are at very attractive odds right now, in other words a great spec value buy. Just let management get on with their business, as I'm sure they will, and if they get good trial results then recognition will appear in the share price in due course. What investors need is a grasp of reality, and patience.
