Leveraged Equities has a mortgage backed margin scheme. The interest rate would be above the 7% though.
It's been some time since I looked but I think it works like an ordinary margin loan but the mortgage backing protects you from a margin call. I'm not sure that's a good idea though. The possibility of a margin call keeps the mind focused. I have a LOC on my house and a margin a/c (currently @ zero). See no reason to combine them. I guess I just don't like doing loan applications. LOL
