Muppet is to be commended for attempting a fundamental valuation .
Even though management are probably planning to exit Alexium within the next 3 years at a price which is way beyond any fundamental valuation , it's wise to entertain the thought that they will not get the valuation they are looking for .
In this event , fundamentals and discounted forecast future cash flows are what should put a floor under the SP and provide downside protection .
