The Oaktree deal was toxic from the get go... combined with the revolving doors of management - small investors had no chance of a recovery ever occurring.
As much as I hate to list another capital loss... that is where this one goes...
I do believe that the directors and executives of companies in Australia should have more powers thrown against them to prevent these things from continually happening... but getting a politician to put their name against something that could impact their work future... or their friends in high places.
Can someone please explain to me why companies pay insurance to indemnify these kind of executives?
