My concern is that at the end of Week 24 trials even if successful AVX will still need a Big Pharma partnership to commercialise ATC. I just don't see the extra steps beyond week 16 as adding the enormous value that the BODs are touting.

To me it is corporate procrastination - AVX should do the heavy lifting now and do a deal with BP; if there really is one to be had.

Personally I would rather accept a reasonable, lower offer to have my holding de-risked.
