Read the links make your own judgment. They are building their market, and Germany is the place to do it, crikey they even payout to builders a subsidy to get it done. They went down the line of PV and got that done, now they are moving away from that and nuclear.
They are pushing Biogas, decentralised grid, specifc subsidies for adoption of the technology, even the banks are supporting it, why because they have no other choice....
These are not small steps they are HUGE steps and they are doing this all over the world, (here in OZ we are lucky if we can do something without burning the building down apols to Garret et al, blind freddie would tell you downlights were a risk, check for cardboard boxes), and they are in Germany where they get it right.
