Yeh, I have been pondering this myself.

Looking at the number of units that we have sold to partners for trials and development over the years, I dont see them being reflected in this count.

Also, the trial units are going to be getting switched on-off...stripped down, ramped up-down etc so would only corrupt the data

When I looked 6 months ago, the count of sold units for trial purposes was more than the website was tracking. If it inludes trial units than it means very few are being sold outside the trials
